Chingri Malai Curry

Chingri Malai Curry also known as Prawn Malai Curry, is a Bengali curry made from prawns and coconut milk and flavored with spices. The dish is popular throughout Bengal and is served during weddings and celebrations, or for guests, and was also very popular among the British in Calcutta, Indian sub-continent.

Recipes: 

  •  Prawns 750 gm
  • Cinnamon stick 2 
  •  Green cardamom 5 
  • Salt as required
  •  Refined oil 2 cups
  • Ginger paste 1cup
  •  Red chilly powder 1/2 
  •  Coconut milk  1/2 cups
  •  Clove 6
  • Bay leaf 4
  •  Green chilly 6-8
  • Sugar 1 cup
  •  Soybean oil 2 cups
